Uploading Your First Chart

  • Click Import in the sidebar (or visit /app/import)
  • Choose your source: upload PDFs from your computer, or connect Google Drive
  • Select one or more PDF files — ADA accepts scanned and digital sheet music
  • Click Start Import — ADA will process each file

    • What happens during import:

  • ADA reads the PDF and detects individual instrument parts (Trumpet 1, Alto Sax 2, Piano, etc.)
  • ADA extracts metadata: title, composer, key signature, tempo, time signature, style
  • ADA indexes everything so you can search your library instantly
    • Tip: Import takes 10–30 seconds per chart depending on page count. You can keep working while ADA processes in the background.
